Job Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and leadership teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into actionable insights. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working on impactful projects across multiple domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support product development teams by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with business goals
- Conduct process analysis and recommend optimization and automation solutions
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT, and release planning
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams to ensure smooth communication
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a remote or distributed environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with requirement-gathering techniques and documentation standards
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams
- Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, or BI platforms
- Background in fintech, SaaS, healthcare, e-commerce, or enterprise systems
- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA is a plus
